Thank you Manchester!

Thank you Manchester!

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who came down to the Phil Meadows Group; tribute to Charlie Parker performance at the Bridgewater Hall on the 15th June. I’d also like to thank Bryony and the team for looking after us so well throughout our time within the rather exciting ‘A Little Bite Music’ concert series. We had a fantastic time performing some of our favourite music whilst telling the life story of the great man himself; including his time with the ‘Jay McShann Jazz Orchestra,’ ‘Dizzy Gillespie’ and many more. It was a lovely to meet so many people who formed one of the most attentive audiences we’ve had so far this year, we really can’t thank you all enough!

National Youth Jazz Orchestra – Exciting news!

We’re going to be back in Manchester on July 17th at 11:45am in Albert Square for the Manchester Jazz Festival. This gig is free entry and we will be performing a set of all original music. It would be great to see you!

I also wanted to take the opportunity to let you know that in July I will beperforming on Radio 3′s ‘Tune In’ with a National Youth Jazz Orchestra nonet ahead of the BBC Prom on the 10th August (- more details to follow). We have also just been confirmed at the infamous Ronnie Scotts on the 25th July and tickets are on sale now! More information can be found here!
