Lifecycles is the project that marked the launch of the Parliamentary Jazz Award-winning Engines Orchestra. Banks of strings, brass and woodwinds team up with a piano, bass and drums rhythm section, jazz harp and featured solo trumpet, alto/soprano saxophone and voice. Throughout Lifecycles, the music remains highly melodic with elements of folk and classical lyricism sitting alongside lush jazz harmony.

Line-Up:

Featured Frontline (x3) - Trumpet + Alto/Soprano Saxes + Vocals.

Rhythm Section (x3) - Piano + Harp + Double/Electric Bass + Drums.

String Section x 13 (4, 4, 3, 2) - Violin 1, 2; Viola + Cello.

Brass x 3 - Trumpet, French Horn, Bass Trombone.

Woodwinds x 3 - Flute + Piccolo, Tenor Sax + Clarinet + Flute, Bass Clarinet + Clarinet.
